After receiving the results of the plagiarism checker I was really upset with the student. It was extremely obvious that the news report had been plagiarized. The checker comparison index was 100%, which mean it was copied straight from the original paper word for word. My first course of action would be to pose the student with my findings, and make him aw are that he will non be fascinateting any credit for this paper. Second, this would also be reported to the head of the education department. The students would more then apparent fail the class because from my experiences students that purposely plagiarizes soulfulness else’s paper. However, ahead doing any of this I would sit down with my student and explain the many reasons why it is not acceptable to plagiarize. When you take someone else’s work and try and make it yours that is the same as thieving. It’s the same as going out and stealing a car, and of course there will be penalization for stealing the car so we moldiness punish you for stealing this person’s paper.
That author put a good deal of hard work into that paper and he deserves his recognition and in one act tried to steal that from him, and this is unacceptable. You must envision this is being dishonest to yourself and your classmates. Whatever happens from this point forward you must be honest in this school because there are many other ways to be dishonest desire cheating on tests using resources you aren’t allowed, having someone else do your work.
