I believe that our country needs to weigh into alternative methods to the habituate of foreign cover. There ar in like manner many risk factors that ar involved with being overly drug-addicted on the use of foreign oil. Some of these problems are the effects on our economy, our environment and national security. Being dependent on foreign oil leaves us undefended to the emergent price increase. Since we have no other alternative methods we are then forced to pay high prices and foreign countries tail choose to keep them high. Green peace has been embarking on do big business take responsibility for the pollution the use of fossil fuels do to the environment. (Green Peace USA) Finding a cleanable method of energy production would help our environment not just in the United States but worldwide.
An interesting fact about overseas drilling is that a large voice of the oil our country imports does not come from the Persian/Arabian Gulf areas. A majority of the oil that comes from this region is exported to horse opera Europe, China, India and Japan.

I think that my habits to stamp all politicians to be the same have hindered my thinking in the past. I tend to view them with their own agendas and pocket books in mind. This seems a bit unfair to the politicians that deserve to have their voices hear and their agendas followed.
