This first assignment for the Leading Self-Managed Teams unit was based on my sustain organisation, COMPASS Ltd, in which I am the current CEO. I have been the CEO for eight years since its set-up. I am given full autonomy to manage the daily operations of the company and report directly to the Board of Directors. It has an annual overturn of about US$20 million and is still ontogeny at an annual rate of 25%. The current round strength is about 40 people. COMPASS was the pioneer in this industry and its establishment was prompted by the passing of some strike copyright legislation.
