Miami School District Negotiation Paper
The Miami School District has started the process of rezoning students in their district due to increase in enrollment. To balance race students willing be rezoned to educates that atomic number 18 under populated. Unfortunately, under this platform many students will non attend the present school. Rezoning the students is a good plan for the school district, but for the students involved could be overwhelming. Parents and guardians of the students attending the schools are not content with the plan and are objecting it.
Parents and guardians concerns with the rezoning plan are that the quality of education will not be the same if students are forced to change schools. unrivalled key aspect is the lack of knowledge of the new school. some other reason is the students would undoubtedly be bused across town change magnitude traveling time. Traveling far away from home abide be a hardship for the students and parents. Lastly, the students will be hybridization economic and cultural borders which can come upon the property value for affluent areas. Attending a new school all causes social affects for students and parents fear that the rezoning will impact the students ability to learn.
The following paper will address stakeholders concerns, the negotiation strategy used to support the rezoning plan, and how ethics and culture affect the decision.
