San Diego
San Diego is an amazing and beautiful city. San Diegos prox is based on the quality of its g all overnance and direction of its growth.
This write up discusses the city of San Diego (metropolitan area); however, the San Diego part is composed of 19 jurisdictions. This paper discusses The metropolis of San Diego and its growth patterns, demographics, economics and physical characteristics; however, due to the governance grammatical construction and the importance of the regional governing body this paper includes the region in many discussions. San Diego is Californias second largest city and the seventh largest city in the united States. The city covers a large area of vastly opposite topography: miles of ocean and bay shoreline, densely forested hills (coastal sage scratch up and chaparral), fertile valleys, mountains, toiletteyons, and desert. The climate varies in a similar manner.
On the coast, the temperatures are mild and constant, while in the desert areas, the temperature can fluctuate as much as 30 degrees in one day.
San Diego is located on the San Diego bay which is in the south-west corner of southern California. Geographically, San Diego is bordered by Mexico (the city of Tijuana) to the South, the peaceable Ocean to the west, and the Laguna Mountains to the east. To the North of San Diego is Camp Pendleton. The region comprises over 2.7 million acres of land (more than 4,200 square miles) about 55 percent of the total land area is not obtainable for public development, including public lands, dedicated parks, open space, and land agonistic for environmental reasons.
