In the Blink of an Eye
I am sure you concur heard the expression, in a blink of an eye, and know it kernel something that happens quickly. Do you know how many times you blink in one day? I believe its scarcely nigh 16 times a minute, so that would be, ab come out 23,040 in a 24 hour period. Imagine if you were going about your regular day, in your regular spirit, and in one of those 23,040 blinks, your all in all life changes.
It was Thursday, March 24th, at 3:39 pm, when my life changed forever, in a blink of an eye. I was travel my usual route home, the same one I travelled to and from prune every day. It was a clear beautiful day, domesticise traffic flow, nothing different than any other day, I was excited about what I had accomplished at work and couldnt wait to take home and unwind. I just had to make a quick stop to pick up my daughter from yoga and then I would be homeward rise! Sounds like a normal day right? Something comparable to what the majority of the population does, daily, but my future had something different in store for me.
Now, I wish I could say that on my way home, I had heard on the radio that the prosperous Powerball winner was from my town, and they had yet to come forward, or in the set lot at yoga, I stumbled across the map to a buried treasure. Unfortunately, this wasnt the case.



I didnt draw both of those straws that day. Instead, I had a brief, but memorable encounter with a woman named Lily. Little did we realize the unforgettable impact we would contribute on each others lives.

You see, Lil was just out and about that day as well, doing the normal daily things that 80 year women do, like go to the Post Office, pick up the local paper, and meet up with friends for a coffee. But directly would be different for her as well. Somewhere between her cream up the paper and me picking up my daughter, our paths crossed, and in a blink of an eye everything changed.
