The texts Frankenstein and Blade Runner have their visions and ideas anchored in the social and cultural trends of their period. However, despite the vast gulf in time, the issues raised and notions plought with be strikingly similar. Both texts are primarily concerned with what it is to be human and express apprehensions towards an ever changing world.
